Who is Anna? I get this question alot! Annie Florence Culbreth was my great grandmother's name, When my my mother invited me to join her on this journey, the business already had a name....Anna Florence Handcrafted Jewelry. We each made our own creations under this name and even had a few by my sister Beth! What a great beginning that soon led to a love of working with metals! A few classes later ( from Connie Ulrich in Huntsville, AL)and I was hooked! I have found my look, which is contemporary as well as organic in feel. I love creating little pieces of art by texturing sterling and adding accents of copper, brass and gold-filled metals. I add gemstones to many of my earrings to add a touch of color. I graduated from Auburn with a degree in Interior Furnishings and use the experience with design in creating wearable art. You will now see Leigh Ann Hurst on the tags but Anna Florence will remain the business name and my mother is still my business partner. I will always be thankful for her encouragement, because without her I would never have taken the first step on this journey that has truly been a blessing!

Christmas with Mom

A very special Christmas gift handmade just for my mother! This is the first piece of my jewelry made just for her. It was given to her by my family, my brother Allen and his family and my sister Beth and her family. Each square is engraved on the back with a special word just for her!
